Bookings for "Beneficiaries"

Beneficiaries have preference for one bach on a first come basis. If no booking is made within three weeks of tenancy, both bachs may be booked.

How to Book

1. Check you are familiar with the Rules

2. Check the availability calendar and see if a bach is available.

3. Email (heather@reid.net.nz) or phone (021 164 8081) Heather Reid and specify which bach(s) you would like, including arrival and exit dates.

4. Heather will contact you to confirm your booking and update the availability calendar

5. Supply your friends a copy of the "Checklist" (print it from here and give it to them).

6. Ensure the fees are deposited into the "Bach Account".  See Cost Calculator below.

Booking for an unaccompanied "Friend of the Family"

• • On some occasions, generally outside Christmas, Easter, long weekends and school holidays, the bachs may be made available to selected Friends of the Family. These are close friends who you absolutely trust.

  • Bookings accepted no more than 6 weeks before tenancy, and only if not needed by family.

  • Put simply "The Family" accepts your recommendation however you are responsible for ensuring your trusted "Friend of the Family":

    • Adheres to the "Bach Rules"

    • Receives and returns your key

    • Replaces any breakages or contacts Heather and lets her know

    • Receives a copy of the "Checklist"

    • Cleans the Bach(s) to a standard outlined in the "Checklist"

    • Ensures payment is made to the Bank Account below

NB: Rubbish collection is Monday and other days also at peak times.
